Alphabetical Listing of Contributors:
Richard Nadon
Je suis un mycologue amateur de Montréal, je recherche et photographie dans mes temps libres les espèces communes et les espèces rares.
M. Nadon is an amateur mycolgist in Montreal. He hunts and photographs common and rare species in his spare time.
Charya Peou
Ms. Peou works as a digital artist for the C.S. Draper Laboratory in Cambridge, MA, and is a professional photographer. In her spare time, she is a woodland wayfarer with a fondness for fungi. She braves the Northeast wilderness to capture images of elusive mushrooms in their native habitat.
Dianna Smith
Ms. Smith is an amateur mycologist, mushroom photographer, and Membership Chairperson of COMA, the Connecticut-Westchester Mycological Association. She produces and edits SCAPES, a series of educational shows on topics ranging from mycology to gardening, for community cable television channels. Her Web site, www.pbase.com/comafungi, documents and discusses many of the mushroom species found during COMA, NEMF and NAMA forays and scheduled walks. By educational background, she is a historian of science and technology.
Douglas Smith, Ph.D.
Dr. Smith is a high energy physicist at the Stanford Linear Accelerator
Center, and a member of the Fungus Federation of Santa Cruz. He is also
a computer programmer, web designer, and amateur photographer, who tries to photograph as many mushrooms as possible in his spare time. He would not call himself an amateur mycologist, but more a guy who likes to wander the hillsides appreciating small squishy things (and a little too obsessed with chanterelles).
David Work
Mr. Work is a voice-over artist, chef, photo enthusiast, and amateur mycologist who resides in the fungally rich Mid Hudson region of New York State. He is the current president of the Mid Hudson Mycological Association, and has been avidly capturing photos of mushrooms for only a few years. His award-winning photos have appeared internationally in numerous Web sites, books, academic presentations, and calendars. David’s photo Web site, David Work Mushroom Photography, offers an opportunity to take in the variety of fungi in the Hudson Valley and Catskills and also to view some of his recent work.
Tim Zurowski
Mr. Zurowski is a nature enthusiast who enjoys photographing wildlife and nature in his spare time. His Web site and impressive image bank, at Tim Zurowski Photography, illustrates his photography, which has been published world-wide in various books, magazines and calendars. While just beginning to discover the world of mushrooms, it appears he may be hooked on mushroom mania and mushroom photography.
SPECIAL THANKS
